Connection Science Fellow

Yi Ding is a postdoctoral associate in the Connection Science group within SSRC at MIT, working with Professor Alex ‘Sandy’ Pentland and his group. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota. His research interests lie at the intersection of mobile computing, data mining, and computational social science. He is interested in studying human behavior through smartphone sensing and machine learning in cyber-physical systems (CPS) and cyber-human systems (CHS) like gig delivery, location-based services, and transportation. He is also interested in exploring the rich information behind human behavior from a computational social science perspective.
