Innovations:

Technology Companies (last two years)

  • Akoya Financial – Akoya is transforming the way consumers provide access to their data with increased security, privacy, and control over their information. Data aggregators, fintechs, and financial institutions need to only integrate once with the Akoya Data Access Network to securely exchange consumer-permissioned financial data. Akoya manages these relationships and serves as an interoperable solution available to the entire financial services industry. The Akoya Data Access Network is backed by 12 major North American financial institutions.
  • Secure AI Labs – Secure AI Labs (SAIL) makes sharing critical businesses data safe and easy by protecting it during analysis. By advancing encryption technology used to protect media files, SAIL protects data by digitally enforcing data-use policies. This protection allows data owners to control who, how and where their data is used, even after sharing. Now businesses can access and share data as easily as renting a movie and without the liability of working with personal or proprietary information.
  • Sila – A Fintech dedicated to empowering developers with open source infrastructure tools using advanced APIs and distributed ledger technology to make transactions easier and lower business costs.
  • FortifID – FortifID is a data authentication and privacy platform that uses concepts developed at MIT to verify, authenticate and detect fraud during consumer on-boarding without spreading the consumer’s personal data footprint.
