Guang Wang

Connection Science Fellow

Guang Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at Florida State University. He was a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT Connection Science. Before that, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University. Guang is interested in finding meaningful patterns from large-scale data based on data-driven modeling and then designing socially informed decision-making algorithms to address some real-world societal challenges related to equity, privacy, resilience, and sustainability. Currently, his research is mainly focusing on Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Human-Centered Computing, especially for applications on Human Mobility, Smart&Connected Communities, and Economy.
