Yuan Yuan is an Assistant Professor at the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Yuan is interested in understanding social networks using advanced computational techniques, such as machine learning and causal inference. He also works with world-leading social network platforms to investigate how to improve well-being on online social networks by product designs. Yuan received his Ph.D. in Social and Engineering Systems and Statistics from MIT IDSS, and his Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Tsinghua University.
