Isabella Loaiza

Ph.D. Candidate

IIsabella is a Ph.D. student in the Human Dynamics Group at the MIT Media Lab. She uses value-sensitive design to build tools to help people make pivotal life decisions using data-driven insights about people like them. She is currently developing Career Compass, a tool to help US workers craft their careers in the context of the future of work. In the past, Isabella has researched international migrations to build a tool called Voyage Viewer to help workers make decisions about international relocation destinations based on metrics about people like them and destination labor markets. Her work stands at the intersection of Computational Social Science, Design, and the future of work.
