Eduardo Castello

Connection Science Fellow

Dr. Eduardo Castello experience and interests comprise robotics, blockchain technology, and complex systems. Eduardo was a Marie Curie Fellow in the Human Dynamics (HD) group at the MIT Media Lab where he worked with Prof. Alex ('Sandy') Pentland to explore the combination of distributed robotic systems and blockchain technology. His work focuses on implementing new security, behavior, and business models for distributed robotics by using novel cryptographic methods  Eduardo received his Bsc.(Hons) Intelligent Systems from University of Portsmouth (UK) and his M. Eng and Ph.D degrees in robotics engineering from Osaka University (Japan). During his graduate studies, Eduardo's research focused on swarm robotics and how to achieve cooperative and self-sustaining groups of robots.
