Abdullah Almaatouq is an Assistant Professor of Information Technology at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His research focuses on the mechanisms of decision-making in networked environments where decisions are influenced by interactions with others. Currently, he develops dynamical models of inference, judgment, learning, and decision-making that can adapt to interconnected social and non-stationary information environments and tests such models using a wide array of methods ranging from behavioral experiments and observational studies to computer simulations and mathematical analyses. He holds dual MS and a PhD from MIT, and a BSc from the University of Southampton.
